Darla says...!

9/24/07- Happy Fall!!  Time to cook up some pretty glass beads and take out the knitting needles!! I love this time of year! Nice weather for taking out the Harley's and putting a fire in the backyard fire pit to roast hot dogs. And, in the studio...I'm currently working on sterling silver snowman pendants. The snowmen are broken pieces of china and I am crafting them into sterling silver pendants that you can easily slip onto a cord or chain for the upcoming holidays and winter season!  So cute and in shades of blue and white. I'll list one on eBay soon, so be on the lookout! :) Ok, off I go! Please spend some time outdoors enjoying this gorgeous weather!! 

 Ok, FLATTIE SWIMMERS...fish done my way!  It took me nearly a year to get them the way I wanted them. They had to look like fish (duh). They had to be whimsical. I wanted something unique by design as well as comfortable and practical for jewelry design. This is the finished product. Sleek, smooth, fun little whimsical fish. I call them SWIMMERS. Take a look:

This would be Miss Josie Springerhopper, and for good reason. You should see those legs! She can be anywhere in a single leap, I SWEAR! 

A bit about Dorie and Josie...they are Black & Silver Toy Schnauzers and they're step sisters (they share the same father). They came to us from a wonderful breeder in Texas. Dorie turns 3 years old this month, June. Josie turns 2 years old in August.
